On Sunday 7th July we are opening our gates to the public for a day, inviting the local community to enjoy our allotment site. Gates will open at 1pm and the event will run until 5pm.
There will be tea, homemade cakes, a BBQ and a bar, and you can buy plants and fruit we’ve grown, and jams and preserves made by our plotholders with fruit from their plots.
This is a lovely event where you can explore the oldest allotments in London. Take a peek into our WW2 Anderson shelter, look around the vintage sheds we’ve restored, and get some inspiration for growing your own vegetables, fruit and flowers.
Dear plotholders, remember we need cakes baked, plants and produce grown, and volunteers to help with stewarding and running stalls and activities. If you are able to help, email us at committee@ealingdean.co.uk
